My role as a guide is for us to journey together; to share and make sense of where we are on any given day. I offer individual sessions, practices, and workshops with groups online and in-person, and participate in collaborations. I am utilising existing programs such as the Work That Reconnects, and the Good Grief Network 10-step program and offering tailored sessions with a deep ecology/ecopsychology/nature reconnection approach and incorporate elements of meditation, eco-art therapy, play, and mindfulness.
I began SOS (Sustainability of Self; as part of a whole living organism) to maintain wellbeing and build resilience, and transition eco-anxiety and grief as a masters project in Ecopsychology. This project was based on my personal journey into despair and the lack of support within the community. Together we will approach our pain compassionately, respond kindly, and walk gently together weaving love, appreciation, respect, and belonging to our Earth.
My approach to adapting and preparing for systems collapse is to connect with our local community, create and maintain peer-to-peer support networks, create spaces for us to authentically share what we are experiencing, how we are feeling, respectfully witness each other, and share the practices we use to maintain a foundation of good health and build resilience.
