In these uncertain times, now, more than ever, it is important to find a sense of calm and connection from inside. Kundalini Yoga is an ancient practice once taught in caves from Master to disciple. It combines mantra, meditation, breath work and posture to balance mind, body and soul. It creates a heightened sense of awareness, boosts the immune system and, practiced over time, helps you to keep your balance no matter what is going on around you.

In this workshop, we will explore what Kundalini Yoga is, its origins, its benefits, and how it works, but most of all we will gain an experience of its effects. We will carry out a series of pranayama/breathing exercises which can all be used as takeaway calming tools for daily usage, followed by an energising set that works the lower chakras and transmutes our instinctual urges and lower vibration feelings to higher ends. Think fear to inspiration and creativity. We will also carry out a balancing meditation with mantra, helping us to break old habits and patterns and connect us with the natural flow of life.

This is an introductory workshop and suitable for beginners, though seasoned practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of the practice and benefit from group support are also welcome.
