- Are you troubled by the state of the world – in Nature and humanity?
- Are you concerned by the unravelling and turbulence you’re witnessing on so many fronts – climate, biodiversity, social, political and economic?
- Would you like a supportive, non-judgemental space in which to give voice to your concerns?
The Work That Reconnects online gathering offers beautifully-held processes, helping to soothe our nervous systems and support us in facing our anxieties about the world, whilst honouring the validity of our concerns. It’s based on tried and tested practices that provide an antidote to overwhelm and despair. And we’ll explore new perspectives that resource and empower you.
This process takes us to a place of balance with a new perspective on how to navigate daily life more easily. It also supports us to clarify what is ours to do, both for our own wellbeing and for our unique part in meeting the enormous challenges of our time.
The key is reconnection– with Nature, our tribe or community, and our authentic natural selves.
The Work That Reconnects, developed over four decades by eco-philosopher and Buddhist scholar Joanna Macy, is a beautiful set of simple practices and tools, specifically designed to shift us from anxiety or despair to a place of resilience and empowerment.
Over the course of delivering 20 online workshops since April @BeinginNature has evolved a nourishing and potent workshop format for the online realm . “It was so thoughtfully structured to really make the most of what’s possible through zoom – extremely impressive how it was possible to feel so engaged and connected.” Carrie, an online workshop attendee
