Deep Relating is a ‘relational meditation’ practice that allows us to examine our inner world of thoughts, emotions, sensations and intuitive visions as they arise in our communication with one another. It’s a space where we come together to explore what is true in the present moment and voice it from a place of deep ownership and respect for ourselves and each other. In a Deep Relating circle, we show up in the entirety of our being, listen deeply and allow ourselves to be transformed by the new threads of meaning and perspective that emerge in the process.

Deep Relating brings together the awareness of our predicament and the 5 core principles of Authentic Relating (Circling):

1. Commitment to connection

2. Staying with the level of sensations

3. Welcoming any energy

4. Owning our experience

5. Being with the other in their world

Although shares around our Deep Adaptation journeys might arise, this is not a space that’s dedicated to them! It’s more of a recognition that an awareness of our predicament will be present in the space as we dive in and follow what arises, which might have something or nothing to do with it.

Deep Relating can be done both in an online and offline setting. To learn more about online Deep Adaptation events , please check PDA Online Deep Relating Circles page (insert link).
