Isabel Santis, MA, Transformative Coach
In these times of environmental, social, economic, and political upheaval, our ability to thrive, and even survive, will be directly related to our ability to be resilient. In biological terms, resilience is the ability of an organism to survive, respond, and adapt to its environment. Psychological resilience is the ability to mentally and emotionally cope with a crisis, adapt, and recover quickly. Among the indicators of resilience are self-awareness, mindfulness, self-care, positive relationships, and purpose in life. I support my clients in deepening their relationship with themselves, the people in their life, and the world around them. Through our work together, my clients gain greater meaning, a renewed sense of joy, and strategies for integrating their values into their everyday lives.
I use an integral coaching framework, with guided visualization, expressive art therapy, movement, nature activities, dreamwork, and deep reflection to guide my clients in a process of self-discovery. I draw on my experience in ecopsychology, permaculture, depth psychology, and the arts to support my clients’ personal growth. Some of my relevant training includes:
- MA, Transformative Leadership
- Ph.D. ABD, East-West Psychology
- Trauma-Informed Coach
- Certified Positive Psychology Coach
- EcoTuner, IES
- Ecopsychology Certificate
- Work that Reconnects Facilitator
- Permaculture Design Certification
The focus of my Ph.D. research is on expanded states of consciousness, ecopsychology, and psychospiritual resilience.
